A Splash of Sunset

Description

How do you take a photo of a sunset a place that is known for sunset photography? You get creative. It was a windy September evening at Ottawa's Nepean Sailing Club and the waves on the Ottawa River were active, rushing towards the shore and hitting the rock-lined shore, creating fountain-like splashes. So I climbed down the rock wall and stationed myself on the lowest rock and waited for the splashes to happen -- and they delivered. The colours were striking the shot worked out and I and my camera were a little wet from splashing and splashing.
